Key to My Heart Keyring Pattern – Free Knitting Pattern

You know those moments when you suddenly realise Valentine’s Day (or a birthday, or anniversary) is tomorrow and you haven’t got a thing sorted? I’ve been there more times than I care to admit! That’s exactly why I designed this sweet little heart keyring pattern.

Reasons to love the free knitted heart keyring pattern…

A great little stash-buster projects that uses just 10g of DK yarn, a few scraps of toy stuffing, and about an hour of your time. I love how quickly these little hearts come together, and they make such thoughtful gifts. There’s something rather special about slipping a handmade heart onto someone’s keyring as a surprise, isn’t there?

The pattern itself is very versatile. Whilst it’s written for DK weight yarn on 3.25mm needles, you can absolutely use whatever yarn you fancy. Got some chunky yarn knocking about? Make a big, bold heart. Found a tiny bit of 4ply? Create a delicate little version. Fluffy, smooth, sparkly, I would love to see them.

Why not add a personal touch with some simple embroidery? Stitch your sweetheart’s initials on the front, or both your initials with a little plus sign. It takes all of five minutes but makes it feel so much more special.

The pattern is available here free on the blog, you can also find a premium paid for version you can download without any pesky adverts, (I know sometimes you just want to download your pattern and get going without the need to scroll).
